From independent test work and consultation with industry experts Sentient Foams has designed and had manufactured new tooling for the preparation and testing of foam samples incorporating Dynamic Flow Technology.

The new design incorporates a double ring of compressed foam around the outer perimeter of the dressing and a large central area of foam.

In this way the maximum area of Sentients leading Aliphatic foam is able to absorb exudate around the wound area and there is a double lock effect with two compressed areas to restrict fluid flow and leakage from the dressing design.

Previous independent testing had proven that Dynamic Flow technology, which incorporates compressed and non-compressed areas of foam, can greatly increase the time taken before a film foam dressing fails by leakage breaching the edge dressing.
